SELLER GUIDE
From your sewing room to a buyer’s home.
A practical guide to applying, preparing a quilt listing, fulfilling an order, and representing your work professionally.
THE PROCESS
How selling will work.
1. Apply
Tell us about you, your quilting experience, the kinds of quilts you create, and where buyers can see examples of your work.
2. Get approved
Applications are reviewed before seller access is granted. Approval protects buyers and keeps the marketplace focused on genuine quilt makers.
3. Build your storefront
Add your maker story, profile details, shop policies, and clear contact information.
4. Create the listing
Use accurate measurements, strong photographs, a complete materials description, care instructions, and realistic processing time.
5. Fulfill the order
Package the quilt carefully, ship within the stated time, provide tracking, and communicate promptly if anything changes.
6. Support the buyer
Answer reasonable product questions and follow the published marketplace and return policies.
A STRONG LISTING
Show the quilt honestly.
Photograph the full front and back, quilting detail, binding, label, and any wear or variation. Use natural light and neutral surroundings. Never hide stains, damage, repairs, or material uncertainty.
Listing checklist
Measurements
List finished width and length. Explain whether the piece is intended for a bed, wall, lap, crib, table, or display.
Materials & construction
Describe top fabric, backing, batting, piecing method, quilting method, binding, and whether the quilt has been washed.
Care & condition
Provide safe care instructions and disclose condition clearly. Vintage, repurposed, and new quilts must be identified correctly.
